He was predeceased by: his parents, James Everette and Mable Godfrey Leatherwood; and his siblings, Mary Green and Johnny Leatherwood. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Booker Leatherwood; his children, Christy Nodine (Travis) of Pauline, Melissa Marshburn (Dennis) of Blacksburg, Robert Christopher Leatherwood of Woodruff and Timothy Lee Leatherwood of Woodruff; and his siblings, Donna Cook of Gray Court, Shirley Leatherwood of Woodruff, Tammy West of Woodruff, JoAnn O'Shields of Woodruff, James Leatherwood of Woodruff, Wayne Leatherwood of Woodruff and Michael Leatherwood of Greenville.
