Ricky Waddell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ricky Waddell (Woodruff, South Carolina), born in Greer, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 11, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ricky shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ricky farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Terry Jean Leonard Waddell; his parents, J. B. Waddell and Lucy Mae DeYoung Waddell; his children, Caleb Waddell (Jennifer) and Carrie Jo Waddell; and his grandchildren, Nathan Crunkilton, Ryan Crunkilton and Hattie Waddell. He was also cherished by his family and loved being "Papa" to his grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fletcher Funeral Service (6995 SC-101, Woodruff, SC 29388). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sharon Methodist Church Cemetery (1421 Reidville Sharon Rd, Greer, SC 29651).
