It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Dickerson (Woodruff, South Carolina), born in Startex, South Carolina, who passed away on May 27, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Benjamin and Mary Lou Blackwell Ridings; and her son Harold Dickerson. She is survived by: her children, Robert Dickerson (Elsie) of Duncan, SC, Gary Dickerson (Susan) of Woodruff, SC, Brenda Atkinson, Rhonda Crowe of Greenville, SC and Faye Sanders (David) of Williamston, SC; her sister Edna Harris of Inman, SC; and her grandsons, Stephen Dickerson, Dewayne Dickerson, David Dickerson, Jason Dickerson, Daniel Rodgers, Mark Dill, Jamie Dill, Chris Sanders and Todd Lancaster. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
