He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Wesley and Myrtle Byars Sawyer. He is survived by: his wife Donna Padgett Sawyer; his children, Angela Sawyer (Mark Gonzalez) of Pennsylvania and Wesley Sawyer of Spartanburg; and his siblings, Lynn Webster of Clover, Judy D'Arnell of Roebuck, David Sawyer of Woodruff and Steve Sawyer of Roebuck.
