He is survived by: his parents, Gerturde Motes Garland and Truck Driver; his wife Katie Charlene Shipp Garland; his children, Colby Garland, Chirstopher Shipp (Lauren Ashlee) and Leierra Shipp; his siblings, Charles Garland (Melissa), Ron Hunt (Nancy) and Virginia McAlister; and his grandchildren, Zoie, Serenity and Russell (Katrina Rogers).
