He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Moates (James) of Simpsonville, SC, Taneka Jeter (Isaac Byers) of Greenville, SC, Heather Young of Spartanburg, SC and Ryesha Jeter (Dion Hunter) of Spartanburg, SC; his grandchildren, Shaylone Lee (Yolanda Jeter), Terrance Lancaster, Jerrell Jeter (Carissa Jeter), Zylia Byers, Alisha Byers, Bryson Byers (Nevaeeh Byers), Jahsiah (Kimora Hunter), Cenya Neal and Willie Young (Niesha Young); his nieces and nephews, Samantha Harris, Teresa Parker, Nell Williams, Nishcole Goggins, Oscar Goggins, Tracy Goggins, Joe Goggins, Jamara Jones and Kenji Jeter; and his close friend Ida Mae Smith. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
