She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin "Chigger" Wardell and Edna Louise Woodruff Wardell; and her brother Tommy Wardell. She is survived by: her children, Donna Dillingham Cody and Curwood Dillingham (Elizabeth) of Rock Hill; and her granddaughters, Adrianna Cody, Briana Cody and Christen Cody. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The lying in state was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary (257 N Main St, Woodruff, SC 29388). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dillingham Family Cemetery (191 Chigger Waddel Rd, Enoree, SC 29335).
