She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. B. S. Fortner and Bessie Johnson Fortner; her husband Earl Lambert; and her siblings, Mary Sue Madden, Oscar Fortner, TJ Fortner, Garland Fortner, Jonas Fortner and Matthew Fortner.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Hayes (William) of Woodruff; her siblings, Margie Duncan of Woodruff and Sloan Fortner (Dot) of Woodruff; her grandchildren, Jason Hayes (Alysia) of Greenwood, Emma Kate Hayes, Bailey Hayes and Connor Hayes; and her friend Zellon Colburn.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodruff Church of God (6385 SC-101, Woodruff, SC 29388).
