He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman H. Hamlett and Eva Elliott Hamlett; his children, David Hamlett and Donna Hamlett Gosier; his stepsons, Charles Habighorst and John Habighorst; and his sisters, Cleo Branham and Athea Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Carter Hamlett; his sons, Allan Hamlett and John Hamlett; his stepchildren, Lamar Page, Mike Page, Karen Rogers (Steve), Vicki Acker (Steve) and Alice Hill; his daughter-in-law Linda Hamlett; and his brother-in-law Randy Gosier.
