He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Godfrey and Annie Brank Godfrey; and his siblings, Harold Godfrey, JoAnn Westmoreland, Patsy Holbrook and Dianne Lee.
He is survived by: his daughter Lindsey Paige Godfrey of Jacksonville, Florida; and his sister Kathy Thompson of Woodruff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
