She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Scott and Eveline Middleton Scott; her husband Wilbert Riser; her son Hoyt Lee Riser; her grandson Joe Anthony Riser; and her siblings, Leila Hughes, Eddie and Floyd Scott.
She is survived by: her brother Jack Scott (Ethel) of Woodruff, SC; her granddaughters, Carolyn Evins of Spartanburg, SC, Martha Smith of Woodruff, SC, Teresa Riser of Chesapeake, VA and Zelda Riser of Atlanta, GA; her sister-in-law Dora Wood; her close friend Beatrice Hughes; her friends, Dan McHone, Betty Jo Watson, Marilyn Riser Jones, Henrietta Gilliam, Geraldine Cook, Kim Brewton, Martha Woodruff and Doretha Otijele; and also, Clarence Floyd and Vivian Norman.
