Genell Wood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genell Wood of Woodruff, South Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rob Lawson and Sarah Knight Rhodes; her spouse Thomas Jefferson "Tommy" Wood; and her siblings, Luther Rhodes, Lucenie Scott, Estelle Norwood, Jack Rhodes and William "Buddy" Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta Hardin (Willie), Martha Baggett (John) and Ray Wood; her grandchildren, Rhonda McQueen (Ed) of Irmo, SC, Susan West, Kim Crocker and Kevin Crocker of Woodruff, SC; her siblings, Lois Nelson of Laurens, SC and Belton Rhodes (Joyce) of Woodruff, SC; and her sister-in-law Cheryl Turner of Jefferson, SC.. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
