He was predeceased by: his parents, Ailene and Donald Albert Dowd, Sr.; and his brothers, Ronnie and Eddie Dowd. He is survived by: his wife Susan W. Dowd; his children, Joshua Baker, Jennifer Dowd, Heather Simpson, Gabriel Temple, Donald Dowd, III and Benjamin Dowd; and his siblings, Wesley, Rodney, Tracey Dowd and Penny Dowd. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
