David Gillespie Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2021 we had to say goodbye to David Gillespie Sr. (Woodruff, South Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Gillespie and Dot Payne Gillespie; and his grandson Sean Michael Mears. He is survived by: his children, Donna Ann Gillespie of Spartanburg and David Allen Gillespie Jr. of Spartanburg; his grandchildren, Allen Gillespie, Skylar Cooley (Justin) and Sloane Knepp (Zach); and his great grandchildren, Austyn Cooley, Maelynn Cooley, Marshall Cooley, Hudson Cooley, Harper Knepp and Hampton Knepp. He is also survived by husband who adored his wife, a father who loved his children, and a grandfather who spoiled his grandchildren.
Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic it is requested that masks be worn and social distancing be practiced during the visitation and funeral service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. James United Methodist Church, 213 N. Lanford Road, Spartanburg, S.C. 29301.
