He was predeceased by: his parents, Shields Walker and Rhoda Jones Walker; his former wife Sheila Counts Walker; and his sister Joyce Walker Bates. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Harrison Skinner Walker; his children, Tanya Jacobi (Shane) of Woodruff, Tara Walker (Fulton) of Jacksonville, Florida and Jonathan Walker (Susan) of Greenville; his stepchildren, Alisha Skinner Kocurek (Marty) of Raleigh and Scott Skinner of Greenville; his grandchildren, Kamryn Walker, Madison Jacobi (Drew) and Michael Jacobi; his stepgrandchildren, Chad Kocurek, Jackson Brewer, Hannah Brewer and Lucy Brewer; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Gaddyn and Cliff Kocurek.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the First Baptist Church of Woodruff (801 Cross Anchor Rd, Woodruff, SC 29388). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
