Hobbs of Woodruff, South Carolina, born in Mebane, North Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Austin Williams and Coye Howard Williams; and her siblings, Geraldine Dodson (Albert) and Howard Williams (Becky). She is survived by: her children, Susan Smith (Tony) of Woodruff, Stephen Lee Hobbs (Kathy) of Granite Falls, NC., James Austin Hobbs (Phyllis) of Graham, NC. and Philip Michael Hobbs (Betsy) of Toccoa, GA.; her grandchildren, Kristen Hobbs (Courtney), Joshua Smith (April), Caleb Smith (Marcie), Richard Hobbs and Ben Hobbs; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte Michele "Charlie" Smith and Hayes Edward Lail.
