It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Theo of Woodruff, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Lillie Johnson Farmer; her husband Robert Vandiver "R. V." "Punk" Theo; and her granddaughter Erika Gilbert. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia "Bootsie" Turner (Duane) of Boiling Springs; her stepdaughters, Frankie Theo Gilbert (Cly) of Chesnee and Jonnie Theo Casebeer (Rick) of Woodruff; her grandchildren, Lora Godfrey (Bill), Ivey Turner Martin, Jared Lanford (Kayla), Miranda Gilbert and Dalton Theo; her great grandchildren, Lennox Martin, Maddison Martin, Morgan Parker, Gage Martin, Graham Martin, Banx Lanford, Noah Theo and Alayna Theo; and her great great grandchildren, Emersyn and Corbin Martin.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
