It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Norteman of Woodruff, South Carolina, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Marrett Wheeler and Elizabeth Hibbs Wheeler; her husband William E. Norteman, Jr.; her children, Elizabeth N. Bartlett of Daniel Island, Sali L. Sheafor (Lonnie) of Trempealeau, Wisconsin and William E. Norteman III (Carrie) of Plainfield, Illinois; and her sister Mary Burton Wheeler Spiro of Forest Hills.
