He is survived by: his children, Dyquesha Shardae McDowell and Antonio Pierre McDowell of Laurens, SC; his siblings, Maggie Annette Downs, Mattie Mae Garrett, Rita Melinda McDowell, John Earl McDowell and Curtis Alphonso McDowell; and his grandchildren, Ty-Hiriah Sharelle McDowell and Quincy Ji'merious Stewart.
