He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Curtis Sanders and Lottie Hunter Sanders; and his sister Brenda Knight. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Sanders; his sons, Chris Carter (Christy) of Fort Lawn, SC, William Brice Sanders, Jr. of Blackstock, SC and Jason Sanders (Jennifer) of Great Falls, SC; his grandchildren, Catie Lou Carter, Jacqueline Latislaw and Jimmy Thornton; his brothers, Joe Sanders (Janet) of Lancaster and Gene Sanders of Lancaster; and his brothers-in-law, Eric Carter of Lancaster and Lee Carter (Tina) of Lancaster.
