She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Samuel Hensley; her son Guerry Hensley (Kay); her sister Carolyn Edens; and her grandchildren, Richard Gunnar Hensley (Katie) and Sybil Grier Hensley.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stephen Greene Baptist Church (500 7th St, Winnsboro, SC 29180).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stephen Greene Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or the Fairfield County Library.
