Joan Smith Hollis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Smith Hollis of Winnsboro, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Henry and Lonie Wilson Smith, Sr.; her husband John Wesley Hollis; her siblings, Eugene Smith, James Smith, Fred Smith, Jr., Margie Branham, Doris Jackson and Marie Floyd; and her grandson John Wesley Hollis, III.
She is survived by: her children, David Michael Hollis (Sharon), Jerry Lynn Hollis (Cindy), John Wesley Hollis, Jr. (Kimberly) and Teresa Hollis Eifert; her brother John L. Smith (Ann); her sister-in-law Deloria Smith; her grandchildren, Michelle Rabon (Glenn), David Hollis (Tasha), Christopher Eifert (Becky), Allyson Brannen (David) and Jessica Geary (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Samantha Rabon, Taylor, Haylee, Nicholas Hollis, Kinsley, Amelia, Charlotte Eifert, Caden, Ava Brannen, Lizzie Bade and Noah Geary.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene (650 State Rd S-20-185, Winnsboro, SC 29180). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial may be sent in Joan's memory to Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene or the charity of one's choice.
