With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jessie Lee Johnson (Winnsboro, South Carolina), who passed away on February 28, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Arthur; and her siblings, James, Sam, Joseph, Isiah, Moses, Bernice, Lula Mae, Hattie, Eloise, Susie Mae Belton, Roberta Brakefield, Jannie Bell Ford, Mattie Cohen and Willie Mae McCants.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia Johnson, Sharon Bates (JC), Jacqueline "Jackie" Johnson and Marshalle Small; her grandchildren, Taneshia Bates, Justin Bates, Adynastey Small and Omesia Ashford; her great grandchildren, Daneshia, Jayden, Jalan and Jadan; her sister-in-law Mattie Harris Johnson; and her cousins, John Albert Robinson (Scase), Vigie Lee Polk, Hannie Milling and Lula L. Robinson.
