He was predeceased by: his father Moses (Kittie Lee Martin); his wife Minnie Lee Martin; and his siblings, Evelyn Hines, Clyde, Fedward, Otto and Frank Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Avon Van Bibber of Columbia, S. C., Melissa Martin of Winnsboro, S. C., Henry Martin of Winnsboro, S. C., Tara McCants (Vincent) of Winnsboro, S. C., Rindy Martin of Pennsylvania and Lamanda Smith of Columbia, S. C.; his brother Heyward Martin (Georgetta); and his siblings-in-law, Irene Martin of Winnsboro, S. C., Betty Able of Ridgeway, S. C., David Harrison, Jeff Hines and Bobby Harrison. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
