With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Lewis (Winnsboro, South Carolina), who passed away on May 9, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Van "Brick" Lewis and Nell Brooks; and his siblings, Judith, Sally Kohler (Bill), Dan and Wally.

He is survived by: his wife Cleo; his brother Joe; his children, Lisa, Allyson (Tony), Ernest Crosby "Brick" Jr. (Edith) and Gage (Courtney); and his grandchildren, Drew Taylor, Grace Meyer, Catherine Meyer, Katie Geer (Lyles), Ernest "Crosby" Lewis III, Wells Lewis, Pearson Lewis and Nell Lewis. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
