She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Barfield and Mattie Geneva Bowers Barfield; her siblings, Pauline Ray and Donnie Barfield; and her son Ronald Alan Cook.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paulette Lewis (Johnny) of Woodward and Marie Evans of Winnsboro; her brother Edward Barfield of Phoenix, Arizona.; her grandchildren, Kerri Hutchins, Carla Moore (JC), John Lewis (Alex), Julie Evans, Sherri Mattox (Kevin), Ronnie Cook (Jennifer) and Matthew Evans (Reena); her great grandchildren, Kelli Shealy (Collin), Russell Tanner, Cassie Hutchins, Sydney Cook, Clayton Moore, Abigail Lewis, Sam Mattox, Wyatt Evans, Olivia Mattox, Charlotte Lewis, Alex Cook and Taylor Cook; and her great great grandchildren, Connor Shealy and Lilly Mae Trotter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the Fairfield Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, PO Box 60, Winnsboro SC 29180, to honor Frances' love for animals.
