He is survived by: his siblings, John "Red" Swearingen (Becky) of Winnsboro, David Swearingen of Winnsboro, His, Patricia Swearingen Minton (Peter) of Lamar, Margie Swearingen Mijares of Pelion, Mary Swearingen Basden (Robert) of Lexington and Debbie Swearingen of Winnsboro; and his nephews, Alex and Isaiah Mijares.
