It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Pearson (Winnsboro, South Carolina), born in Jenkinsville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Ravell Keller, Sr. and Gennie Whitener Keller; her children, William Pearson, Jr., Rufus Pearson (Debra), Herman Pearson of Winnsboro, Gregory Pearson (Karen) of Columbia and Vantraw Pearson of Jenkinsville; her daughter-in-law Sharona Pearson of Columbia; her siblings, Jacqueline Keller Hill of Silver Spring, Lark Keller (Jean) and Ravenell Keller, Jr. (Margaret); her aunts, Minnie Lee Whitener Irvin and Alice Dorothy Whitener Moss; and her sisters-in-law, Inez P. Glover and Elaine Pearson. She is also survived by seven granddaughters, one grandson, ten great-grandchildren.
