He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carlyle McCaw and Velma Morris McCaw; his wife Louise McCaw; his daughter Susan McCaw; and his brother George Carlyle McCaw, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Lissa Carroll (David) and Quinton McCaw, Jr. (Lisa) of Aiken; his grandchildren, Angelo McCaw (Sierra Strong), Sydney Glover, Brooklyn Boone (Dalton), Colby McCaw, Blakeley McCaw, Daniel Carroll (Mariel), Jason Carroll, Kristen Carroll, Brian Carroll and Courtney Carroll; his great grandchildren, Eliana, Isabella and Noah; and his siblings, Helen McCaw of Lexington, SC, Shyral McCaw Cline of Lexington, SC and Clayton McCaw (Reba) of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
