She is survived by: her mother Fannie Mae Driggers Hammet; her children, Dixie Alexandra Jowers, Jr. (Tim) of Windsor, SC and Jonathan Dean Everitt Brant of Barnwell, SC; her stepsons, Jonathan and Justin Thornton of Brunswick, GA; her siblings, Elizabeth Foster, Jr. (Billy) of Honea Path, SC, Vermillion of Honea Path, SC, Janet Mays (Sammy) of Honea Path, SC, Ellis B. McCoy (Joyce) of Allendale, Ronnie Bragg (Sissy) of Barnwell and David McCoy (Angie) of Barnwell; and her close friend Dean Young. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
