With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Pennington of Windsor, South Carolina, born in Aiken, South Carolina, who passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Anderson Pennington and Estelle Wall Pennington; and his siblings, Mildred Huffman, June Newsome, Vivian Bradberry, James Rudolph Pennington and Roy Pennington.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Mizell Pennington; his daughters, Vicky Thompson (Allen) of Windsor and Lisa Patterson (Mark) of Augusta, GA; his grandchildren, Christopher Thompson and Jessica Priest (James); his great grandchildren, Remington Priest and Cecily Priest; and his granddaughter Dianne. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
