She was predeceased by: her husband Robert William "Billy" Smith; her parents, James Carlton "Doc" and Eunice Scott Hinton; and her sister Mary Thompson. She is survived by: her daughters, Connie S. Griggs (Randy) of Blue Ridge, GA and Gail S. Moore of Conway, SC; her grandchildren, Scott Griggs (Ingrid), Michelle Moore, Smith Griggs (Victoria) and Mary Claire Amato (Chad); her great grandchild Mason Warren; her grandchildren, Kaylea Hart, Noah, Eli, Libby, Perrin, Barrett Griggs, Bentley and Braylon Moore; her great great grandchildren, Lincoln and Jackson Warren; her nieces, Katherine Covington (Dennis) of Milton, GA and Sally Hartman of Suwanee; and her nephew Frank Thompson, III (Beth) of Seneca, SC..
