We bid farewell to Betty Barwick of Windsor, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Widener and Bertha Key Widener; her husband James Barwick; her sons, Gary and Jerry Barwick; and her siblings, Rosena Ingram, Bebe Cushman, Blondie Davis, Dorothy Widener and Cecil Widener.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Padgett (Dennis) of Warrenville, SC, Sharon Lemons of Martinsville, VA and Barry E. Barwick of Windsor, SC; her sister Bertha Mae Darnell of Blackville, SC; her grandchildren, James Padgett (Jenny), Travis Padgett (Leigh), Mandee Owens, Dusty Lemons, Jessie Bordelon (Fred) and Courtney Barwick; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Declan, Jaxson, Kloee, Kaleigh, James, Kayden and Nevaeh. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Windsor (539 Middleton Dr, Windsor, SC 29856). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The family requests that face masks be worn during the visitation and the funeral.
