He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin "Billy" Bodiford and Louris Hair Bodiford. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Holly Ellis of Williston, SC; his siblings, Judy B. Pitts and Ricky Bodiford (Renee) of Williston; and his stepgrandchildren, Lizzie Ellis, Erica Ellis, Kaylynn Couch and Jimmy Ellis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and his four-legged companion.
