With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelson Nichols Jr. (Williston, South Carolina), born in Bedford, Virginia, who passed away on February 2, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson J. Nichols, Sr. and Thelma Marie Maxey Nichols; his son Jeffery L. Nichols; and his brothers, Tommy H. Nichols, Clifton Nichols and Jerry L. Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Vaughan Nichols; his children, Dorinda Disher (Doug) of Windsor and Daryl J. Nichols of Lexington, SC; his grandchildren, Jeffery N. Nichols and Virginia M. Collins (Tom); his great grandchildren, Jude L. and Greyson D. Collins; his siblings, Patricia M. Nichols of Virginia and Reverend Dennis W. Nichols (Ellen); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Vaughan of Virginia, Ollie Vaughan of Virginia and Jessie Vaughan of Virginia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his loving dog.
