It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Bates (Williston, South Carolina), who passed away on October 24, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Talbert Joseph Jowers, Sr.; and her siblings, Talula Bennett, Elizabeth Boyleston, Helen Green, Syble Greene, Quinby Jowers, Robert Jowers, Tollie Jowers and Marvin Jowers.
She is survived by: her parent Lizzie Estelle Hair Jowers; her husband Bruce Oneal Bates; her sons, Gregg Bates (Stephanie Owens) and Roger Bates (Roxanne); and her granddaughters, Gabrielle Bates and Madison Bates. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
