She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry W. Hardy and Annie Turner Hardy; and her former husband Horace Collins. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Pam Collins of Westminster, SC; her grandsons, Jeremy Collins of Williston, SC, Carl Collins (Yvonne) of Bowersville, GA and Jeff Collins (Gina) of Easley, SC; her stepsons, Joseph McAlhany (Jan) and John McAlhany (Norma) of Greenwood, SC; her nephew Bob Cothran; her son Randy Collins; her husband Dr. Carlisle McAlhany; and her siblings, Mary H. Cothran (Freddie) and Robert Hardy (Robbie). She is also survived by several other nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Williston Presbyterian Church (207 Elko St, Williston, SC 29853). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (1183 Coffee Rd, Walhalla, SC 29691).
