He was predeceased by: his parent Joe Simmons Sr. He is survived by: his parent Lessie Bryant; his wife Ethel Lee White; his children, Samone White of Williston, Porsha Robinson of Allendale, Keen White of Williston, Alexander Bryant and Acacia Williams; his grandchildren, Zylan Badger, Mariay Middleton and Keshawn Middleton, Jr.; his sisters, Betty Bryant of Williston, Diane Cuthbertson of Williston, Gloria Ann Bryant of Williston and Gladys Myrick of Williston; his parents-in-law, Herman White (Janie), Sammie White, Barry White, Willie White, Bobby White (Tina), Charles White, Dorothy Howard (Russell), Elaine White and Corretta Johnson; his aunts, Girtdell Harrison (Leonard), George Glover (Mattie), Losha Glover, Roberta Patterson (Ronnie) and Mattie Robinson; and his niece Patricia Bryant. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
