He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Young and Elizabeth Young; and his sister Louise Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Shontay Young (Ashaunettae) of Sumter, SC, Terrell Wayne Young of Greenville, SC, Brian Young, Robert Young (Barbara), Korea, John William Canty (Charlotte) of Greenville, SC, Derric Canty (Regina), Troy Canty (Natasha), Belvedere, Braydon King, Monique Young of Wilmington, DE and Tara Simpson (Ernell); his siblings, Pastor Phinice Young (Doris), Ale Johnson, Lureatha Daniels of Aiken, SC, Hattie Milligan of Williston, SC, Gladys Young of Williston, SC and Gail Reed (Ernest) of Williston, SC; and his wife Doris Young. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friend.
