He was predeceased by: his parents, John Reese Sheppard, Jr. and Marie Baker Sheppard. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Theresa Diane Robertson; his sons, John R. Sheppard, IV and Robert Johnathan Sheppard; his daughter-in-law Tammy Way Sheppard; and his grandchildren, Turner Reese Sheppard and Madeline Nicole Sheppard.
