With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jackie Champy of Williston, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sanders and Mary Black Sanders; her husband John Champy, Sr.; and her brothers, Francis Sanders and Billy Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, John C. Champy, Jr. (Sheryl) of North Augusta, SC, Francis Alan Champy (Melissa) of Snelling, SC and Sharon Gleaton (Wayne) of Williston, SC; her grandchildren, Brittany Givens (Josh), Brent Champy (Emily), Michael Gainey (Kimberly), Sara Melton (John), Holly Whitson (Trent), Kelly Guzman (Nick), Chad Gleaton, Nicholas Champy (Lauren) and Chadwick Champy (Audrey); and her sister-in-law Betty Sanders. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Folk Funeral Home (170 Elko St, Williston, SC 29853-2612). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at the Williston Cemetery (2600 Lake Dr, Williston, SC 29853).
