She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Franklin Steed, Sr. and Inez Stevenson Steed; her husband Sidney James Sheppard, Sr.; and her siblings, Eliza Ellen Cope, Mary Shealy, Juanita Crosby and Jimmy Willie Steed.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Ann Munoz (Guillermo) of Williston, SC and Sidney James Sheppard, Jr. (Rebecca); her siblings, Cathy Steed Still of Barnwell, SC and Johnny Franklin Steed, Jr. of Olar, SC; and her grandsons, Matthew James Sheppard and Jason Michael Sheppard. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Folk Funeral Home (170 Elko St, Williston, SC 29853-2612). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery Country Club.
