Reggie Hill wrote a sympathy message

“Our family at Vermeer would like express condolences to the family of Don (Slick). He was proud of his nickname. He had become much more than a business relationship through the years. I (Reggie Hill) considered him to be a true friend. I always had so much respect for his work ethic and attention to detail. Most of all I appreciated the fact that he was not ashamed of his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I look forward to the time I will see him again.”
