He is survived by: his mother Audrey Gray; his sons, Seth Chavis (Kayla) of Batesburg and Daniel Chavis of Batesburg; his grandson Connor Chavis; and his siblings, Sheila Dicks (Tim) of Williston, Robert Chavis, Jr. (Rebecca) of Williston, Matthew Chavis of Walterboro, Zack Chavis (Sarah) of Barnwell and Noah Chavis (Destiny) of Barnwell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
