He is survived by: his wife Bette Jean Young Ellison; his children, Julia Nichols (Harold) of Williamston and Vance Steven "Van" Ellison, Jr. (Ginger) of Williamston; his brother Phillip Ellison (Barbara) of Williamston; his grandchildren, Steven, Holly Sue Nichols, Skyler and Foster Ellison; and his close friend William Robert "Rock" Autry. He is also survived by loving sisters and brothers-in-law; many loving nieces, nephews and loving cousins.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that masks be worn and social distancing observed.
