He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Thomas and Mildred Crawford Ford. He is survived by: his wife Florence "Dolly" Ford; his sons, Sammy Melvin Ford, Jr. (Edie) and Timothy "T. I."; his siblings, Sandra Ford Teague, Sarah Ford Davis and James Ford; his grandchildren, Samanthia Ford Dies (Justin), Bell Ford Jennings (Ryan), Max Ford and Ivy Ford; his great grandchild Stella Dies; and his sisters-in-law, Inez Porter and Connie Hoffman.
Due to Covid-19, it is suggested that masks be worn and social distancing observed.
