He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Bowen and Iris Culbertson Bowen; his siblings, Billy McDavid and Charlotte; and his brother-in-law Butch Langford.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Malinda "Linda" Bowen; his daughter Melinda Bowen Brown (Steve); his granddaughters, Jessica Brown Stewart (Chris) and Leah Brown Greene (Bobby); his brother Ernie Bowen (Margaret); and his goddaughter Susan Haney (John). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
