She was predeceased by: her parent Clement Gros; her daughter Mavis Basse; and her siblings, Edith Gros Despaux, Ella Gros Dufrene, Lee Gros, Frederick Gros, Rena Gros Basse and Virginia Gros Sapia.
She is survived by: her parent Efrazia Belsome Gros; her daughters, Ilene Basse Fernandez Boudreaux of Williamston, SC and Janice Basse Gaskill (Alan Gaskill) of Powdersville, SC; her grandchildren, Rodney Fernandez, Andrea Fernandez Barber (Jason Barber), Jared Gaskill and Brandon Gaskill; and her great grandchildren, Austin Pereira, Sara Hurst, Logan Barber and Valerie Barber. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
