He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ruben Funk, Sr. and Patsy Erline Wilbanks Funk; and his sister Lynn Roach. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Sentell Funk; his children, Chad Funk (Michelle), Clint Funk (Candice) and Cassie Funk Brittain (Cale); and his grandchildren, Houston Funk, Corbin Funk, Cooper Funk, Caden Brittain and Caelyn Brittain.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sullivan-King Mortuary (3205 N Hwy 81, Anderson, SC 29621). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the SIX & Twenty Baptist Church (3701 6 and 20 Rd, Pendleton, SC 29670).
