She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Rodney Waters, Sr.; her parents, James Royd "Beany" and Agnes Caldwell Davis; and her siblings, Beatrice "Beachie" Davis Collins and William Haywood Davis.

She is survived by: her children, Calvin R. Waters, Jr. (Nancy) of Easley, Susan Waters McAbee (Joe) of Piedmont and Beth Waters Watkins of Williamston; and her grandchildren, Calvin R. Waters, III, K. C. Watkins, Chuck Waters, James Watkins, Charlie Watkins and Bailee McAbee.
